Washington County Criminal Court Records

Search Washington County Criminal Cases
Washington County uses Idaho's statewide iCourt Portal for public criminal case lookup. The county District Court and Magistrate Court pages both send users to the state court case research link rather than to a separate county-only database. Public iCourt access can show case status and docket information, but it does not mean every document image is downloadable from home.
- Open the iCourt Portal and choose Smart Search for court records.
- Search by criminal case number when known, or use the defendant's name.
- Review the county, court, case type, filing date, and case status before relying on a result.
- Open the docket or register of actions to read hearings, filings, pleas, orders, disposition, and sentencing entries.
- Use a courthouse kiosk or contact the clerk when a certified copy, document image, or older record is needed.
The Idaho Judicial Branch says court records can also be accessed through a courthouse kiosk or a clerk request where the case was filed. The iCourt portal also warns that sealed cases and exempt information under Idaho Court Administrative Rule 32 do not appear in public search results.

What Washington County Criminal Records Show
iCourt public case details vary by case and court level. A Washington County criminal court record commonly identifies the case and the defendant, then lists the court events that show how each count moved. Exact field names can vary inside the Tyler Odyssey system. The key point is that a case record records court action. It may refer to a booking, bond, warrant, or custody event, but it is still maintained as a court file.

Washington County Charges and Convictions

The Idaho criminal history release statute is a separate route from iCourt. A criminal history repository record is not the same as a Washington County court docket, and Idaho release rules control who may receive certain repository information.

Washington County Criminal Record Access

Washington County Sealed Criminal Records
Restricted criminal records are not ordinary public search results. Juvenile matters, sealed cases, exempt warrant support materials, pretrial risk assessments, presentence investigation reports, and protected personal identifiers may be withheld or redacted. The Washington County sheriff public configurations for inmates and warrants also suppress juveniles, which matches the broader rule that juvenile material is treated differently from adult criminal records.
